Little Patti the Spook studies how to surprise
the Hue Mans day in and day out.

All the other Spooks say, 
"Why don't you scare Hue Mans too?"

How can Patti be a friend to Hue Mans?

テレビを　いっしょに　見るのは　どう？

How about watching TV together?
How about taking a bath together?

いろんな作戦を　ためしてみたけど
なかなかうまく　いかないな。
きょうもニンゲンと　仲良くなれないまま
パッチは家に　帰ってきた。
Patti tried many different ways
but they never work.
Again today, Patti couldn't be friends
with Hue Mans and went back home.

パッチの　うしろに　小さなニンゲンが　ひとり。
なまえは……　マユちゃんだって。
Huh?
There's a Hue Man behind Patti.

It seems like Mayu-chan wants to be friends
with Patti, too.

きづけば　お空は　みかん色。
そろそろ　おうちに　帰らないと。
さみしいね。
When they realized the sky
had turned the color of an orange,
now it's time to go home.
That's sad.

あ…　パッチが　机に　ぶつかったみたい。
「マユ、帰ってきたの？」
あれは　マユちゃんの　ママとパパ？
Now we are here in Mayu-chan's room.
What should we play?
Bump!!
Oops, Patti ran into the table.
"Mayu, are you home?"
Are they Mayu-chan's mom and dad?

おどろかしちゃったかな。
おどろかしたくなかったな。
なにか　いやなことしちゃったかな。

Did I scare them?

遠くの方から　小さなニンゲンが　ひとり。
Huh?
In the distance, a small Hue Man.

ママとパパに　パッチのことを　話してくれたみたい。
「さっきは　ごめんなさい
いつでも　あそびにおいで」だって！
Mayu-chan!
It seems she told mom and dad about Patti!
"I'm sorry about what happened.
You can come play any time", they say.
